Dr. Noam Perlmuter
Chief Executive Officer
Noam has been the CEO of ROTEC since 2009. He has over 20 years’ experience in various aspects of the global water treatment industry, with extensive expertise in sales and marketing, business development, project management, entrepreneurship and leading R&D from idea to product. Noam holds a B.Sc. in Biology, an M.Sc. in Ecology and Environmental Quality and a Ph.D. in Eco-toxicology, all from the Life Sciences Faculty at Tel Aviv University, Israel.
Uzi Kafri
VP Sales & Marketing
Uzi holds global responsibility for developing new markets, segments and local partnerships to drive fast growth. He has more than 20 years’ experience in business development, marketing and global sales. He previously held senior positions in companies that provide solutions for seawater and brackish water desalination, including P2W, Fluence, and Atlantium, and presented at conferences worldwide. Earlier, Uzi served in senior positions in high-tech companies. He holds a B.Sc. from Ben Gurion University, Israel, and an MBA from Heriot Watt University, England.
Omer Michaeli
Omer is responsible for engineering design standards and project management. He has over 10 years’ experience in the water and wastewater technology industry. Prior to joining ROTEC, Omer held project, process and product management positions and served as a senior process engineer at Applied Cleantech, Emefcy, RWL Water and Fluence. He has designed large-scale water treatment and RO plants in Africa, South America, Central America and Asia. Omer holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the Technion, Israel.
Dan Peled
Dan has worked at ROTEC since 2010, focusing on the treatment of challenging water sources and leading many successful projects that greatly increased the productivity of desalination plants. Dan brings a process engineer’s approach to projects, a control designer’s view of the process, an operator’s experience to the project startup, and an R&D engineer’s view of project optimization. He holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.
Tomer Osman
Head of Pre-Sales
Tomer is a process engineer who has worked on water treatment projects around the globe. He is experienced in driving projects end-to-end, from the pre-sales phase to detailed process design, project management, R&D, commissioning management, and post-sales activities. Prior to joining ROTEC, Tomer was a process engineer at GES, where he specialized in water desalination technology. Tomer holds a B.Sc. in Water Industries Engineering (cum laude) from the School of Engineering at Kinneret Academic College in Israel.


Prof. Eli Korin
Eli is an inventor and co-founder of ROTEC. He is a professor of Chemical Engineering at Ben Gurion University and a specialist in crystallization kinetics and separation processes, in membrane technologies focusing on scale prevention in RO water desalination processes, and separation by membrane distillation. Eli served as the Chairman of the Department during 2002-2008, and since 2007 he has held the Lady Cohen Podium Chair of Chemical Engineering Processes. His research team is also engaged in the development new electrodes for fuel cells and water treatment applications. Eli holds Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel.
Prof. Jack Gilron
Jack is an inventor and a co-founder of ROTEC. He previously served as Chief Technologist of Carbon Membranes, Senior Scientist of Membrane Products Kiryat Weizmann and scientist at the Nalco Chemical Company. Jack is involved in several research projects related to desalination and wastewater treatment based on membrane technology applications. He is a Senior Scientist at ZIWR and a specialist in membrane technology and prevention of scaling in membrane processes. Jack holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Brandeis University in Massachusetts, an M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry from Cornell University in N.Y. and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Technion, Israel.
